The Burning Bush - In the Presence of I AM

The intensity of the sunlight on the yellow foliage created a reflection in the river that rivaled a firestorm...the direct lighting on the upper left corner shows the hillside with the "burning bush" that did not burn.

This display of brilliant, overpowering light reminded me of Moses meeting God in the cleft of the rock....I just knew I was in the presence of God, quickened by the fire of the Holy Spirit...

I am still awestruck by just looking at the photo!

For some reason, I did not catch the connection with the burning bush immediately....it reminds me of what happened to the disciples when on the Emmaus Road “Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. They asked each other, ‘Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?’” (Luke 24:31-32).

No, I haven't lost it....I spent my undergrad days in the nutrition and food lab classes at Cal Berkeley and am a trained scientist....:)
