Stretch My Wings
If anyone remembers a shot I posted called "Betty Davis Eye's", this is her at one year of age. I think she has turned out to be a pretty girl. Although she is not a zoo animal, it is not a local wild bird. Draga, her name means "Sweet" in some languages, Romanian, Croatian, Gypsy. Sweet, like the one you love. She is a female Lanner falcon that the trainers are raising for a breeder. She will have to leave them in a couple of years to go to a breeding project, but she will bring a new blood lines into captive-bred U.S. Lanners. The Lanner is native to Africa and the Balkan area of Europe.
