commented 5 months agoThanks David~ This was a Sunday~I made the decision to go kinda late in the morning~I was lucky to have the cloud cover, and all the fantastic fall colors still mostly on the trees~I got some nice images just before it started raining~I'll probably get a couple 20x30 prints made~Someone suggested having one printed as a puzzle~I had never thought of it~There are places that make different size puzzles from any print~

commented 5 months agoThanks Carol~I'ts the shadows and highlights that make any image look 3 dimentional~Your camera probably has built in HDR that will produce images that have High,Dynamic,Range~ you can also do some HDR photography and process the images with Photoshop,Or a popular HDR program called Photomatrix cost about 100.00 you can get a trial version free on line~Your Camera owners manual will explain how to set up for HDR photography~really not very hard to do~well worth learning how to do it.

commented 5 months agoThanks Lisa~It is a long drive, going up the canyon can be dangerous the first 20 miles or so the road is really narrow and lots of tight curves, on my way back home it was raining ,and some guy had slid off the road , his car went down into the rocks below~it had just happend,he was lucky and climbed back up uninjured . his car was totaled. The scenery is awesome along the kern river. Be carefull if you go !
