commented 5 months agoThanks, for the info, David. Shari and I have visited Wind Wolves several times, but, only to the extent of wandering a little beyond The Crossing. Very little.

commented 5 months agoDavid, I see this scene every morning on my way to work, and it is almost always beautiful, and seems to look different every day. Its one of those places that light renders it with a myriad of unique looks. This a wonderful image of the place. A fantastic composition with an awesome and for boding sky. Very nicely done, especially at 70mph! By the way, the big valley floor area there at the base of the Pleito Hills is called Rinconn Flat, and it was once the location of the biggest single development in California history..... San Emigdio New Town. It is now part of Wind Wolves Preserve.

commented 6 months agoHave to keep the windows up, Wayne. Too hard to get the bugs out of the few teeth I have left. :) Drive-by shooting at 70 mph on our California roads is a challenge. Kind of point , click nd hope for the best.
