Take the Narrow Path
See the gate below? it is on a wide path, and there is a narrow path leading up to the cross. This narrow path itself forms another cross, point to the top, where the actual cross stands.
This scene fits the Biblical admonition in Matthew 7:13:
"Go in through the narrow gate; for the gate that leads to destruction is wide and the road broad, and many travel it."
Shortly after taking this shot, two men walked down the wide road past the gate and headed downhill. I prayed at that moment for them to turn back to the cross and go up the narrow path. Immediately after I prayed this, and I mean one or two seconds later, they turned abruptly and started up to the cross!
It was a startling move, too, just like a football game where the receiver runs a straight pattern downfield and suddenly changes direction, heading to the sidelines to catch the pass and run into the end zone for the winning touchdown!
