commented 6 months agoNo, I haven't played with it much. I took it out to Hart Park on Friday, it seemed to do well with some flicker images, but didn't do well with the Common Golden-eye on a far off shot on the lake, could be because of the White color.

commented 6 months agoThanks David, I didn't see you at the Calendar event? I think it's time to show yourself. Get out there and about us Pumpkin Pie Holes, or face the new bone picken young, Black-crowned Night Herons posed in your trees this up-coming season:)

commented 6 months agoCongrats, Michael on the POD! Have you tried the in-camera HDR features on the D800?

commented 6 months agoCongrats on the POD Mike~Bummer about the sharpness with the new camera~Have you tried doing some test shots with manual focus ? that might tell if i'ts a focus issue. use the indacator focus dot~then focus a little before and a little beyond the subject to see if sharpness is better or not~

commented 6 months agoThanks Steve, more detail with partial moon shots, the light, and flat surface of the full moon does no justice.
