commented 6 months agoWayne~If you know people in the comunity that might like the idea of a Chinese culturual garden or something of that nature it would be great to put the word out~I would think it would be something that would add to Bakersfield's points of intrest~Maybe it could be done out at Calm ? I can invision a beautiful garden with Chinese art displayed, and a Koi pond ~It would be fantistic !

commented 6 months agoGee, Richard, I never thought of that...that is, where to go here in Kern. I just grew up with all that Chinese art. I'll have to think about that...
Well, in any case, go give it a go at P.F. Chang's. You never know.

commented 6 months agoThanks Wayne~I would like to see and photograph Chinese statues,To bad there are no Chinese gardens or displays of their culture in Kern~at least I don;t know of any. The problem with shooting this horse in the dark is people going in and out the front entrance ~I could check around 5 PM and see if I get lucky.

commented 6 months agoRichard, you should see some original Chinese horse statues; they are even more amazing! BTW why not try a shot in the early evening? It's dark early, so you might be able to get a shot with the lights on...

commented 6 months agoThanks Jojo~I wanted to shoot this at night,But the problem is the horse is only lit up when the resturant is open and people are going in and out. I went one morning at 4:30 AM and found out the lights are not on~So with the clouds this morning I decided to give it a nother try~
